HomesteadGarden.com accepts article submissions for its website. We are not currently accepting articles for our newsletter.

Articles We Accept: The focus of your article must be of some interest
to women. We prefer articles that are within the homesteading and gardening genres, but are open to most any women's interest articles such as home related, crafts, organizing, simple living, natural living, vintage topics, etc.

Your article must be informational in content and not simply an
advertisement for your product or services. Please browse our articles
and note the style of articles we accept. Although, we appreciate many
styles, our readers enjoy light and easy reading that they can relate
to and digest quickly. This doesn't imply we seek short articles. To
clarify, the topic should not be too deep/heavy and not heavily
related to current events.

We restrict links in articles to 3 links.

You Agree to: By submitting your article you are granting us the
right to modify the article for editorial purposes and to reproduce
the article for public display. We are not requiring exclusive rights,
but would appreciate publication history of a submitted article. Our
main objective is not accepting an article that is currently published
numerously and simultaneously.

If We Accept: If your submission is accepted, you will be
permitted to include a resource box about yourself and/or your business.

How to Submit: Contact Us

You will be notified if your article has been accepted for publication
on the website. Please allow a couple of weeks for an acceptance
response. Due to the number of submissions we receive, we can't reply
to all submissions that do not meet our editorial needs.

Terms and Conditions: Articles must be the work of the original author.
Author retains copyright of article(s) published on our website and
possibly posted in our forums.

If the article is a reprint, you must hold the reprint rights. If
possible, please include brief publication history. Articles may contain
graphics. Articles and graphics accepted for publication will be formatted
to fit our site layout, styles, and ad-supported interface.

Articles accepted for publication will be archived indefinitely on our
site. Once published, we do not intend to remove the content, but
reserve the right to delete any article from our site for any reason
at any time. We make no guarantee towards perpetual linking to
sites or promotion of any persons or sites.

We will only acknowledge article submissions that are actually published on
our site, and will contact the author upon publication, so you will not
receive a rejection letter.

At this time, we are not monetarily compensating for articles. When we
are accepting submissions for paid publication, we contact all
authors that have been previously published by us to let them know.
The exception to this call for submissions are pictorials/tutorials which
we happily pay for at any time. Payment is dependent on what type is
submitted and accepted and is negotiated on a case by case basis.

directly for details on advertising options available. ie. book reviews,
chat events, press releases, site wide ads.
