Has anyone tried making their own cheese?

This is on my "to learn" list. Its something I've always wanted to try, but just haven't done yet.

I've thought about it and even read a bit about it but I haven't gotten brave enough to try it yet. I do want to learn sometime soon.

I haven't tried it, but have done quite a bit of reading about it. I would like a tried and true recipe though. I have heard many people mention they added too much of the rennet tablet and I don't want to go through it all and find that I did the same.
