I was going to feed my horse and a bug went flying and landed in the snow ! I picked it up with the snow and it looked kind of like a Mosquito (State Bird of MN.) - but a little bigger. Its been cold here and lots of snow on the ground - not sure what the bug is ! |

When I lived in Alberta, we used to get snow spiders all the time in winter. Any time it was warmed than about -5C, they'd be out on the snow. Other bugs sometimes get confused and wake up in winter.
