I just started making a few cards this past Christmas and really enjoyed it. I cut material out and made a few Blue Bonnet girls and placed them on the front of the card. I glued a little flower in her hand, then I wrote a little note inside.
Have you made any of your own greeting cards and what type have you made?

Yes..sometimes I use greeting card software, and other times I stamp them. I rarely buy cards any more :)

I made birthday cards for our nieces and nephews last year. I would like to expand my stamp collection a bit and start making all of our cards.

Have either of you used anything else to make your cards from - pressed flowers, material, etc. or just basically stamps?

I haven't even used my stamps yet. I've used card stock cut into shapes with my Coluzzle or using shaped punches, eyelets, stickers, vellum, and tried to do some fancy writing with my pens.

so far I have only used stamps as well. I would like to branch out and do more interesting cards though.

I've never made real greeting cards. Ryan makes them for her friends though. I have some cardstock that I got free somewhere and really should try doing something with it.

I got some free software last winter and used it to make a few christmas cards (until I ran out of color ink...lol)
I've made a few up and saved them for different occasions but I haven't printed any our lately.

I have several software programs that I've used. Wish that I were artistic enough to make them by hand. I have a sister-in-law that makes all of her own Christmas cards. They're beautiful!
