Do you like to use candles in your home and if so, what types?
I prefer to use a candle to scent a room rather than a room spray. I love the natural smells. Right now I have a lavendar vanilla candle burning in my bedroom and it smells heavenly. I love the apple cinnamon type in the kitchen and I also love peppermint candles there. I don't go for the heavy floral scents as much. I think there is something soothing in a candle burning.
What about you?

I love candles, and have one in everyroom. The problem it seems though is that I can hardly find candles anymore without a scent. In the warmer months, I love having my candles lite but enjoy the scents coming from outside (except when the farmers put down their manure in the spring, LOL) so I don't want a scent to mask that when I light a candle, kwim? But I do enjoy a variety of scents, for every season and holiday. I enjoy vanilla, and lilac, and sandlewood. But I try to be careful when lighting them, because I have come to learn if you light too many with too different of scents to the candles you can get some funky smells in your house, LOL.

I love candles, especially Yankee Candles (they seem to have to the longest lasting smell) and always have at least one burning. Vanilla is my favorite scent although I do try others as well.

I love candles as well. I love the lavendar and vanilla scents and love the apple spice ones for my kitchen. I use candles on a regular basis.

Candles! One of my favorite topics! :)
I am addicted to them and burn them in my bathroom, kitchen and livingroom. I too like the apple/cinnamon fragrances...anything that smells like there is something good in the oven! The floral scents (rose, gardenia, etc.) give me a headache so I never buy them.
Right now my favorite scent is called 'lemonade' from Colonial Home candles. I love the Yankee candles too, but am partial to the Colonial Home because they have double wicks and seem to burn down evenly without leaving lots of unmelted wax around the edges.
Candles are so homey and welcoming....glad to hear others enjoy them too. Sometimes I feel like I am too crazy about them when I look at all the ones on my shelf that are yet to be burned! :)

I am a candle lover as well. I'm about to embark on making my own scented candles. Anyone else do this?

Prarierose,
I hope to learn candlemaking as well. I've bought several unscented candles on sale really cheap and am planning on experimenting with them before I invest in real supplies. Let me know what scents you use and how they turn out.

One of these day's I will make my own as well...lol
I just bought 2 Home Interior candles today.
I got a Peaches & Cream and a Baked Apple Pie. I am giving one to my husbands boss as a Valentine/Thank You for letting me stay with her last week when he was gone and I had no power thanks to the ice storm we had here.
I have candles all over the place. Unfortunatly I need to do a little restocking since we burned a lot of them during the ice storm the night that we stayed here.

Kathryn,
Both those scents are winners for sure.

I love candles! The scents I generally go for are baked apple pie, coconut, and vanilla. One of my friends sells Gold Canyon candles and I got a cucumber melon candle from her that smells divine!

Absolutely love candles! Doesn't matter whether they are scented or not. I have this really neat gel candle that a friend gave me as a souvenir from her trip to Alaska. When it is lit it reflects the colours of the aurora borealis (northern lights) throughout the candle. It is scented too.
