Do you have nice guest towels that are there more for looks than actual use? All our towels are used, could be because I have a child and live on a farm (LOL). I do keep the ones in better condition in the hall bathroom but I don't have any that are just for looks. Even the Christmas ones or Snowman ones are used, but only for the correct season. I have never been one to keep stuff around just for looks. I like everything to be practical and nice looking at the same time.
Now I do keep the ones that I use to bath the dogs with downstairs so there is no mix up with them. :yuck:

I guess having guest towels would assume I'd have guests. LOL No, no guest towels here. I remember my mom did. She always had a nice set hanging on a towel bar in the bathroom. It seems too impractical on the farm and with 3 boys and a husband. Our worn out towels go to the garage as rags, or to the barn.

Nope, not very practical for us either. We don't have a lot of "guests" and I've limited everyone to their own towels. If we had any extra, I'm sure the kids would find them and use them, especially if their own towel is wet!!

When guests come over for just a daytime visit, I do put out one of the nicer hand towels ;). For overnight guests I have a newer set of bath towels, but most of the face cloths around here are pretty ratty. I have overnight guests coming in March, so I think I'll keep an eye out for some face cloths on sale. For everyday, no, I don't have "guest towels" out just for looks...the kids would use them or they would collect dust!

I love the idea of having guest linens, but haven't done those types of things since before marriage/children. lol I'm lucky to remember hanging any towels at all these days. :D

LOL, sounds like our house (except for the 3 boys) --- IF we have guests, then we make sure they are given the nicest towels in the house, which are most likely more than a couple of years old.

My face clothes are really not presentable any more so I guess it's time to buy some new ones and then hide them until we have company. LOL
