Dd is a button collector, in fact whenever we go into a quilting store or material store, thats the first place she goes to and always ends up picking out some. I love unique buttons as well, but don't collect buttons.

I used to collect buttons alot, not so much any more,I have several large candy jars full. I also like the old ones that are still attached to their cards. Hope to include them into displays for the new house. The spare room will have a Murphy bed, computer space, sewing machine etc.
I want to etch the glass door with "Library" on it. I can almost picture it, can't wait...

I do not collect buttons to keep but rather gather old buttons to use on crafts. I love it when I can find a big bag of buttons at the second hand store. There are usually some very special ones in there.

I don't collect buttons, well not on purpose, lol. But I noticed while in a fabric store while looking for some new buttons how far they have come in style, color and just the designs took me aback. Never realized how much thought and art was put into making buttons these days. It's no wonder people collect them :)
