When we were in the city, dh has his workshop in the basement. I hated it there because all the dust came upstairs. When we moved here, there was an old garage that hadn't been used in years that dh remodelled and made into his workshop. Its great for him, keeps the dust out of the house and we both love it.

How about you, what type of workshop is on your homestead?

Our workshop is in the garage. There is no way we could get the cars in there. We have a shed that we keep the lawn equipment and lots of tools in as well. Actually I think the whole house is a workshop. I keep finding stuff laying around whenever I clean.

We have one set up in the garage. DH had a workbench that his father made for him that is just at his height and has a plug in strip for his electric power tools. He just sets up his sawhorses either in there or in the driveway when he needs to work on projects and away he goes!!! :icon_wink
