Are you a snuggler?

When it comes to my bed, I love lots of blankets and quilts and really soft, warm bedding. Since we heat by wood, it gets cool in the house before morning and it's so nice to be under those covers. Sometimes I am so tired and stressed out by bedtime that I think I will scream. Then I get in my nice soft bed and snuggle down deep in my covers and feel a sense of peace and protection wrap around me. I prefer cuddly bedding that is functional over anything frilly or with lace. I love flannel sheets in the winter.

How about you? Do you go for the fancy, frilly type of bed covers?

No we don't have fancy bedding. As you know, I'm a quilter, so the more quilts the better. We each have 2 quilts on our beds and love snuggling under them. I plan on making at least 1 more for each bed over the next little while. Actually the tops are all made, I just need to quilt them.

We don't have flannel sheets, but they are on my wishlist. Not near enough to the top for my liking, but others things have more importance right now.

I remember we use to have flannel sheets growing up. Nothing like them to keep you warm in the cold winter months.

I'm a snuggler! I have flannel sheets on the bed, a feather bed, feather comforter and a quilt. I also have lots of pillows and a fleece blanket that I have over my shoulders at night. Throw in a warm hubby and a cat or 2 and I stay really warm! :icon_wink
