I did, but I quickly got rid of it when I realized how much time it took to clean it.

I have a set of silverware that my aunt gave me. I lived with her when I went to college. Her last name started with a "D", mine didn't at the time as I was still single. When I went by to tell her that I was engaged, she was estatic that I was marrying someone with a last name that started with "D"!! so she then handed me her set. Beautiful!!!

I have some silver wine goblets that my great aunt gave me and they are so pretty but I never use them and it is a job keeping them sparkling.

I also have a silver tray that I use at Christmas and special occasions.

My grandmother on my dad's side gave me her silver tea set. She wanted me to have it and I won't get rid of it for anything. I've only used it once at Christmas time mainly because of the time required to clean it. I know there are easier ways to clean silver. Have you tried washing soda and aluminum foil in water? I think there are directions on the box. I'm out of washing soda right now so I can't check.
