I'm bad for this, I seldom do. I just throw everything in the wash and never check.

No. If it's questionable, I just wash it in cold water on the gentle cycle and hang it to dry.

In it goes, wash, wash, wash!! Now mind you DS's are getting particular with their dark sweaters so Mom washes them in cold and hangs them. Good Mom!!

Only on rare occassions do I check tags. After all these years of laundry, I just kinda know by the look and feel how it should be washed. When in doubt, cold water and gentle cycle.
