I flip our mattress over during the time changes. Its just easier to remember that way.
How about you? Do you flip your mattress over and if so how often?

I rotate it one month, flip the next month. I do it around the first of each month, try to remember what I did, previous, whether a rotate or a flip. I'm not too worried if it gets gibbled. It'll all work out.
George has been doing it for me, since the surgery
Another thing I do at the same time is the mattress pad, so once a month it gets washed. I do the duvet cover then too.
I started this with the kid's asthma, I used to vacuum their mattresses as part of the process. I still do ours once in a while.
but now first of the month, the monday that follows is
flip or rotate mattress
wash mattress pads with the sheets
wash duvet cover,
hang duvet out and pillows to kill dust mites, air bedding (this is something I need to get back with, I stopped because of the surgery, and it keeps them nice and fresh)
and that week I clean the furnace filter.
Call it asthma prevention week at our place.

Twice a year, usually on the time changes. We rotate once and flip the next.

It really does make a difference in the wear and tear of your mattress.

I can only spin our mattress as ours has a pillow top attached to it.
And since it is fairly new, (less than 6 months) I haven't done that to it yet.
