I've learnt through trial and error to do my laundry on Monday. Because I only have 2 clothesracks, the last 1-2 loads need to be done on Tues. Then I forget about laundry until the next Monday. It has saved me so much time and energy.
I did have to get a few more faceclothes, but other than that we make due with what we have.
How often do you do your laundry and do you have regular days that you do it on or when you get so low in clothes, you don't have a choice but to do it?

LOL! I used to wait until the pile of clothes was so large! My method was doing it when I had no choice. :couch: Now I do laundry every Monday. I got behind over Christmas but should be back in the swing this week.

I was doing 1 or 2 loads a week until last week when I learned that the weekends are the off-peak times for my gas company, so I'll be doing laundry on the weekends whenever possible. :)

I look at the pile daily, does that count? :hurray:
Seriously, if there is enough for a load of anything, whites, colours or delicates I throw a load in, otherwish I let it ride till tomorrow. I can't face a weeks worth, I'd commit hari kari or something.
I can put away one loads worth a day without feeling like I want to chuck it all and move to mansion with a maid, and let her take care of it all.
Mondays I do sheets though so Monday's wash is heaviest. Monday isn't the most fun day of the week, that is for sure.

Almost every day! I hate laundry. It is never ending.

I do laundry on the weekends ~ usually Saturday and sometimes Sunday depending. I try to only do laundry once per week and it works out nicely most of the time.

I do at least a load a day - often more. It never ends around here. If I go two days without doing laundry, I have to spend an entire day doing nothing but laundry from sun up to sun down.
Summers are less aggravating because I use my wash line to dry everything and it goes so much faster. I hate to use the dryer any more that I have to in the winter - so I use a clothes drying rack for things like jeans and heavy sweatshirts.
I could probably minimize the amount of laundry I do if I would get after everyone to hang or fold things up that really aren't dirty after one wearing, but my kids think that's the yuckiest thing in the world! Plus it seems like it's a rare event when they come home and haven't slopped or spilled something on themselves. All I know if there has to be a better way! At this point, my best solution is having them help with it to ....ahem....lighten the load!!!! :)
