Mel has had to work long hours this week due to registration at the college. Since I have been getting home first I have had to feed the wood stove. Our wood stove is huge and is in the basement. I am scared of it. Okay stop laughing!! I really am scared of it. I believe the fire will jump out and get me. Well, wood is our heat source and if I didn't feed it - no heat. So for the last 2 days, I have came home and fed the monster. Yesterday I barely put enough wood in to keep it going. Last night Mel made me a wood pile in the basement and said that he didn't think I could possibly use that much wood. Well.... I managed to use all but one huge log before he got home. I had the house nice and toasty. I checked on it several times and did not get burned or attacked by the wood burner. I even poked the logs to get the coals going and worked the vents. I think I am Wonder Woman now. I will be glad when I am relieved of this job. LOL

Next thing you know, you'll be hiring out with dragonslayers R us! WTG!!! :winter:
