This morning I did Prairiemaid's recipe for Baked Oatmeal.
I cut the recipe in half, because I knew it would be way to much for us. It was very yummie. I did find it a little sweet, so next time I plan on cutting down the sugar just a bit.
Also, if you bake it, make sure you allow for 30 minutes to bake it. The kids didn't get breakfast until 10.

I want to try that. I like having different breakfast options. Yesterday I made a bunch of freezer quiche, tonight I want to put together breakfast burritos, but tomorrow, I should try this recipe.
thanks for sharing Prairie maid. I'll share my popcorn with you! :icon_bigg

I like it cold as well. I had a bit leftover and was nibbling away at it for lunch. It wasn't bad cold.
CG, if you make it, cut the recipe in half, unless you want to experiment with it and see how it freezes. I wonder if Prairiemaid has ever done that with it. Cut in half, it makes a small cake pan full.

LOL! No I haven't cut it in half. I'd just have to double it. :D My family eats the whole thing! I usually make this for lunch on the weekend. I thought 1/2 hour was pretty quick to put a lunch together. lol
My oldest ds likes to make this occasionally. It's easy because you just measure and stir.
