I've been doing a major organization over the past couple of days. Its really beginning to pay off.

My computer desk is now set up right next to my sewing desk so that I can do a BOM 2004 quilt. My desk is completely organized as is my sewing desk.

My kitchen is fast becoming organized although I still don't have that quite done. I ran out of energy today. I was ready for a :sleep: by around 6 p.m.
Tomorrow, we will put up the shelf in the kitchen, where all my cookbooks and my pots will go. Dh has built me a small quilt rack, but I'd decided instead to use that has a towel rack in the kitchen. That will go under my shelf and no longer will kitchen towels be everywhere. They'll have their own little place. I want to put up a couple hooks on it so that I can also hang up my aprons. Right now, they use are over the back of a chair!!!

It feels good to get that organization done, to know that everything will have a place and to know exactly where it is. It will make homekeeping so much more simpler and will give me peace of mind.

What type of organization have you been doing over the last little while?

Playing with some new recipes, I'm in the process of testing an omelet roll recipe from Taste of Home to see how well it stands up to freezing and reheating.

I want to tackle my closet adn drawers and the bookshelves to do a mini dejunk in there, get it a bit better and more streamlined.

When I dejunk, then streamline my life, and organize what's left, things just go a lot quicker and easier.

The shelf is now up and dh is just doing the quilt/towel rack. Then I can organize all my cookbooks (I don't have a lot) and get everything else organized. Its all coming together!!
