While the kids were busy with their new things yesterday and dh was reading, I managed to get about 3 hours of hand quilting in yesterday, some in the afternoon and some in the evening. I love hand quilting, I find it so relaxing.

Have any of you done hand quilting and do you enjoy it?

I love to hand quilt. I am not good at sewing blocks and it hurts my back sitting at the machine. Love just sitting on the couch, feet up and hand quilting. Its so relaxing.

I can't wait till I know how to do this :)

Well I was able to put in about 2 1/2 hours of hand quilting since I first posted here. I have the whole centre block finished and now I'm hand quilting the outside blocks. I just find it so relaxing, although my fingers wouldn't say that. They have needle holes everywhere because I can't wear a thimble. I just don't feel comfortable wearing one.
