Well after having the Christmas tree up since Dec. 1st, its coming down later today. I'll put away the wrappings I was able to save, store the tree and be glad that its been taken down.

How soon do you take your tree down?

I'll be doing the same this weekend. I have to admit, I am happy it was a simple tree this year. There's not much to put away. ;)

Typically boxing day is the day we take down the tree and put away most of the decorations. This year we left for Canada on boxing day and didn't get home until very late Monday night ... so Tuesday was the day. I love Christmas, I love my decorations, but I'm always ready to get things put away and back to normal. I'm leaving my fresh green wreaths outside on the two front windows until next Saturday though...they're still so fresh looking and simple and I think they look nice out there.

I am struggling with taking down the tree and all the other Christmas decorations today. I hate it! I have ranted to my family that next year there will be only 1 tree, not 2 and that I expect others to pitch in. LOL

I'm still with mine up but I'm getting pretty close to popping over the top and into a clean it all away binge.

Tuesday I do the ladies bible study, so I don't want to get in a big cleaning binge till after that's out of the way. I hate starting on a project like that then stopping, and trying to pick up steam again.

My wrappings box is all done up again till next year.

but till I put it away I'm going to enjoy the lights in the early morning quiet with my coffee, and in the evening before bed.
