One of my bosses just came in and gave me a big ziplock bag full of the biggest pecan halves I have ever seen. His brother lives in Arkansas and sent him 1/2 a bushel and he is giving me some as a Christmas gift. These are beautiful pecans and I have never seen any this large. Now the dilemma - eat them plain or cook with them? Maybe some of both. What would you do? Any good recipes you want to share?

Owe Pat, I'd just eat them plain. I love pecans, the more the better. I always purchase some from the health food store everytime I get into Brandon. Love those pecans!!!

I can already tell that there will not be any left to cook with. Me and Mel have both been in that bag so much already. I am munching some even as I sit here. Yum
