Not much here, were all trying to get over being sick. Christmas is way behind. I did order the turkey yesterday so at least the family will have a turkey to eat. :chef:

I've also been trying to plan some goals for 2004 and going through my seed catalogue, getting ready to make an order before Feb. 15th, so I can get a 10% discount. Its so hard to know what I want though, cause I sure would love a lot more than the $$ permit.

I've done some decluttering. Winter is usually pretty quiet on our homestead though. Dh has to make a couple more craft items we've sold and we need to get our m/bedroom insulated, but were waiting until January to do that.

Whats been happening on your homesteads?

:groupwave I have been so sick since the beginning of Nov. I actually cooked a meal completely by myself on Friday night. It was a simple one, but hubby was so happy not to have to help.

I am getting itchy to plan the garden this year. I am thinking of not having so many tomatoes to sell and do more root veggies. We are also planning on getting more chickens, they are so much fun. It doesn't take much more to add a dozen more, the work would only add a couple of minutes a day. We plan on selling extra eggs.

I want to declutter my house this year. We haven't done that completely since we moved in 3 1/2 years ago. I have a huge section of yard sale items, just need to actually have a sale.

I'm getting the house back in order today, tree and decorations packed up and outside lights down. I'm about 1/2 done. I am starting to see some type of "normalcy" LOL!

Tonight after supper I am working on my household notebook and routines and setting up a system for tracking our expenses. I don't think I've ever been this hyped about a new year!!
