As I look around, there is much to be done of my little homestead this coming week. Its suppose to be warm outside, so I'll trim my roses and check my perrenials and get them ready for the winter months. I saved a large amount of leaves to cover them with.

I need to wash bedding this week and hang it out to dry, along with the never ending clothes that need washing.

I plan on quilting the 2 charity quilts I've done and get them off to the charities. I'll also work at hand quilting the challenge quilt I did.

I need to get things moved from our m/bedroom so that we can start insulating in there and get that finished before the really cold weather sets in.

I'll add more to this list as the week goes on.

This week is for canning for me. I have hot peppers, apples and pears to put up. The house will smell warm and my pantry will be looking complete.

Last week I had to pick the rest of the garden as frost was forecasted and did come on Thursday. I have a few bags of green tomatoes I hop that turn slowly for us to eat.

My Mom just gave me severl skeins of yarn and it even had a pattern for a new afghan. I just smiled as I had planned on making her one for Christmas and now I don't even need to buy yarn. :) She will be quite surprised and happy.
