My parents live up north and I saw the most beautiful pincone! I was all excited! Well, my dad got me some more before we left for home! :sansm:

Does anyone have good decorating ideas or crafts to make with these pinecones? I got small and big ones! :xmas:

Lucie, I don't have any ideas, but I love pinecones. Have you done a search under pinecone crafts on the web. You might find some that way.

Last year ds and I took pinecones from our yard and painted the tips all over with glue. We sprinkled glitter on the glue, let them dry, shook off the excess glitter, and dh then sprayed them with a sealer. They turned out really pretty (nice to display in a basket or crystal bowl).

Hi, I have make a lot of the crafts on the PineconeLady site too. I can do the simple ones! The ornaments came out great. I made the ones with the sweetgum balls and also the kissing balls. I put them up on our tree here at the job. The folks in the office asked me to make more for them! I did, and I charged $8 each! It paid for more xmas gifts! LOL. For anyone who hasn't been to that site, it is Pineconelady.com. I am going to try the firestarters soon.

I have taken some and dripped cinnamon essential oil on them and used them like potpourri (ever how you spell that).
