 G'day!

My name is Leonie, and I live in Koroit, Victoria, Australia.

I have a 1953-ish Rayburn Cooker (wood-burning stove)., and wondered if anyone has any ideas on using it.

I have spoken to Rayburn by e-mail, and there is not much available. There is a book available, but I don't have the money for it and do not possess a credit card.

Thankyou for your help in anticipation.

How did you get on with the stove? In 2003 I had to learn how to use the wood heater again, I wish we had "met" then! We were renting in Flowerdale and we have since sold our house with the nice gas heater. We have bought in another part of Victoria where it is cold and use a wood heater all the time now. I don't need to stoke it up as often.

I do remember using the stove or watching my Mum, Nana and aunties use them. I would like one myself now! Especially as we regularly run out of hot water, and it is nice to have a warm kitchen.

Hope to see you around. :cat:
