We've had a terrible wind here today and one of our 2 broody chooks had her little house blow over! The poor wee thing would have been happily sitting on her eggs in a broody trance (as they do!) when next thing her whole world turned on it's side!! By the time I realised this had happened she had scrambled around, gathered up her eggs and was back on her nest.....but sadly 3 of the eggs were broken and I had to discard them. Luckily she can't count!

I'm glad she wasn't hurt. At least you only lost 3 eggs and not your hen.

As long as nothing happened to her!
