Well my dd is just full of herself today. Mel found this really long, fully intact snake skin in the field and brought it home to her. She laid it on the bench so that I'd see it the minute I walked thru the front door. The bench is where I sit my bag down as soon as I get in. I screamed and screamed before I realized it was only a skin. She had it draped on the bench so it looked quite real. Mel says it's from a black snake and he actually saw it's probable owner in the pasture as well. Let's hope he stays in the pasture. I know they are supposed to be nice snakes, but then is there such a thing as a nice snake. It measures 64" long from tip to tip. I'm attaching a pic of it's head and one of my dd showing it's length. Why do I feel like I will have nighmares tonite.......

Well if the snake wasn't enough, found this fellow in the dining room this evening. He was only about 6" long and we figure the cat brought him in. Mel put him back outside and I'm going to hide in my room until all the animals go away.....
