Its important at this time of the year if you've had a drought, to make sure you water your trees so that they have moisture for the winter months. Often we forget about the care of trees because usually we have the moisture they need and you don't have to baby them much.

Many of the trees here in S. Manitoba are really stressed right now because of the severe drought and the extremely hot temperatures we've had this year. A number of the Cedars and Oaks are dying here, which is really sad.

A good fertilizer to use around tree roots at this time of the year, is compost!!

Taking care of our trees, will give us years of happiness.
