Any paper crafters?? I am a stamp-a-holic. But I am also really into scrapbooking, altered books and learning about all kinds of crafts.

I love paper. I enjoy scrapbooking and stamping/cardmaking. I love purchasing paper. Especially themed papers. (flowers for spring, holiday paper, etc)

I love scrapbooking--I really need to find more time to do it more often. Melissa has just gotten me addicted to stamping too, and I'm looking forward to getting my first order from her in the mail soon! :)

No stamping here, but I do like to do quilling. Curling paper strips into various shapes to make 3D pictures.

I have seen quilling, and tried a few times to make a flower, stem ,and leaf, etc. It turned out great, but I never got into it as much as I did with stampin, scrapbooking, and cardmaking. I have thought more recently about trying it out again.

Ooh. I love quilling. I would love to learn it. I have seen books at the library, but I need to "see" someone do it to learn. :)

I've never tried quilling either but it really looks interesting.

Now scrapbooking is a different story ... totally love it! :D

Does anyone make handmade paper? It sounds quite inexpensive and fairly easy to do. I hear there's a class in town, so was thinking of going.

Maggie, I've seen the homemade paper but have never given it a try. I think you should go take that class and then you can teach us.

Good idea, Pat! I'll see if I can find out more details about the class today. I'm going to work shortly and then on to a little craft group for a few hours. I think one of the ladies there has done it, so I'll pick her brains! :mwhistle:
