Last Saturday Mel sold 8 of our goats and we are down to only 14 right now. It looks so funny to see so few goats out in the pasture. Of course, the herd will increase as new ones are born but I miss seeing the herd looking bigger. Since we don't eat or milk them, there is no need to keep excess animals around and it is hard work for Mel to vaccinate them and trim their hooves. The money was nice as well. They brought in over $100 each and I think that was a good price considering their size.

I'm looking forward to the next round of babies.
