What aggresive little birds! I went out to the front deck for my morning coffee and there he/she was! Buzzing my head and swirling around, chirping it's little head off! It did not want me there near the feeder!
I guess for their size, they have to be aggresive!

I agree, they are aggressive, especially if your near their nests or their feeder. We've had them become agressive near us as well and for someone so small, they can put up quite a fuss. I've watched them too when there are more than a couple at the feeders. You can certainly tell the dominant ones.
I love them though. It just wouldn't be spring if the hummingbird's weren't around.

I put up another feeder yesterday. One in the back yard. I did this because I've noticed 5 more hummers showing up at the feeder in the front and duking it out! Hopefully, this will split them up a bit. They're so cute!

We have 2 feeders on the front porch and those hummers are draining them as fast as I can fill them up. I sat out there last night and they buzzed all over the place. They don't pay any attention to me unless I'm filling up the feeder then they hover right in front of my face and watch. Really drives you a bit crazy. We have one with the red dot on the throat, 2 without the red throad and one smaller one. They are so fun to watch but I agree that they are aggressive. They fight over the feeder no matter which one is in use.

Were you wearing red Suzie? Maybe they thought you were a lovely flower.:D
We've got all kinds of acrobatics going on with ours too & we seem to have more of them than ever before. It was neat, today as I was hanging laundry
one decided to take a break by perching on the line right in front of me.
