Have any of you gone bird watching outside of your homesteads? Where have you gone and what type of birds have you been fortunate enough to find.

Both dd and ds#1 have gotten binoculars over the past 6 months and love using them to watch the birds in our yard. BUT we plan on making a few trips up north this summer to do bird watching. I can't wait as I love the outdoors.

I'd love to hear if anyone else has done this.
