I started a section in the basement work area. I have a pretty basic system. Shelving unit with lights for boosting my perennial seedlings.

Was curious if anyone else grew anything LEGAL rofl under lights.

Sara, I've had my light set-up, for about 4 years.I didn't use it at all last year, but I plan on using it this year.I finally broke down and bought some Pam's Choice foxglove seeds, and there are a few others that I want to try.

My unit is set up out in my husband's work shop.It is made out of a big wooden shelving unit(open in front and back). On the bottom of each shelf we hung a florescent (misp) fixture that holds four shop lights.This is hung on chains, so the lights can be raised as the seedlings grow.

I use t8's and this shelf. I like this shelf because it has holes and I could hang the lights from it from chains easily. It's deep enough to hold flats. It was inexpensive too.
