Fishing season has opened here and just about everyday, dh and the kids do some fishing. It has become an added source to our food supplies and a very welcome one, because the only cost is the fishing license for dh and 1 kid. We have a river about 4 minutes from us to the travelling expenses are minimal.

How about you?

It sure does! My 17 yo son keeps us in bass most of the summer, and now my 21 yo nephew is fishing (out of necessity) and is catching some amazing catfish - one this week was 9 lbs! He's eating some and selling some for $$.

Don't yell at how foolish I am - We have a lake in our backyard and yet we do not eat the fish. Actually we are not big on any seafood. It's a shame I know. Guess you guys need to come over and go fishing.
