And what do you use the rain water for?
We have 2 and I use the rain water for watering my flowers and garden outside. I also will bring some of the rain water in to water my inside plants.
How about you?

We have 2 barrels that I use to dip the watering cans in. We also have a tin tank behind the garage which collects rain water. It has a hose connection and DH uses it to water his native tree grove. We desperately need rain, so sadly right now that tank is empty!
Additionally our main water supply is a rainwater concrete tank, with bore water back-up.

Does sticking a watering can under the a/c condensation drain count? LOL I do that when we run the a/c and collect the water for watering my outdoor potted plants.

We have a 5,000 litre rainwater tank that collects all the water that falls on our roof. We use it for the garden and it's never run dry since we installed it. When we get a tropical downpour it can go from almost empty to full overnight. DH connected a pump and hose to it so I can use it on everything I need water for in the back yard + he's also connected it to a spinkler system along the driveway and on the front verandah. I always use this as the drinking water for the chickens and the cat and dogs.

It's 6 months since I wrote the post above and my water tank is almost dry. There's be virutally no rain in those six months. I think I have only a few gallons left. Hopefully the rain the predicted tonight and tomorrow will fill it again.

No rain barrels as per say but I do have 5 gallon plastic buckets we use to catch the rain that falls from the roof. I have 6 of them. The dogs drink from 2 of them. I use it to water my outside plants and gardens
