Yesterday this friendly little fantail followed me around! Fantails are a NZ native bird and are so named because of their little fan tail which they spread out & flick from side to side. This action disturbs tiny insects for their food.
They flit from tree to tree and often follow people at close range. Very sweet little birds.

Well that's great isn't it! LOL. That could be anything up the tree!! :icon2:
How can I post it bigger so you can at least see the fantail and not think that you're having a sudden attack of myopia!

The Fantail following you around reminds me of our little "Chick-A-Dees". Their such a sweet little bird! Thanks for the link, such a beautiful bird!
