I just thought I'd say hi. I came over from the other site (Nancy (DawnM) but have chosen a new name here. I wasn't sure whether I should come aboard since I am most definitely not a homesteader in the true sense of the word...or any sense of the word probably. ;) However, being prepared is my motto :) , and I enjoy reading about gardening, which I no longer do (my choice), but most of all we try to live a simple, pared-down and organized life and continue to look for ways to achieve this. My family and home are my priorities so I think I probably can find a few things to contribute. :)

You'll fit in fine. :) I think you'll find things to be very home and garden here.
I don't veggie garden (also by choice), but I love flower gardens and plants.

Hi Nancy! I'm not a "true" homesteader either. My dh (Gripey) does the gardening but I do enjoy watching him dig in the dirt ;)

Hi! Welcome. Glad you are here. I like to think of the "homestead" part as your homestead is wherever you live. ;)
