How much longer do you have before the birds that went away for winter will be back? I'm not sure here. I do expect the ones like robins to be here soon and the hummingbirds a bit later. We have some birds all year but I love it when I look outside and see the robins, bluebirds, bluejays, etc. Then I know it's going to be Spring for sure. I plan on putting out the hummingbird feeders by the middle of April so they will be ready and waiting.

We have had the robins back for a couple of weeks. I've seen 2 of the resident Canada Geese flying over ... they live in the marsh close to our house. Haven't seen any really big flocks of Canada Geese heading north yet. These couple of weekends are waterfowl weekends, when many geese, ducks and birds return to this area. The red wing blackbirds are back. They arrive in large flocks, which is good in a way because they eat all the left over seed that has fallen under the feeders. It is lovely to have the window open and hear the chirping of the birds.

I think most of ours are back now except the hummingbirds. I've seen bluebirds, robins, and the house sparrows. We have house finches building a nest on top of the light on the front porch; they have a nest there every year. And the house sparrows are making a nest in the birdhouse out back. Not sure if anybody has moved into the birdhouse out front yet.

I saw my first robin yesterday! There were 11 sitting in the crabapple tree outside my bedroom window.

All the birds took off and then none visited during the winter. No cardinals...nothing. It was a strange thing. I think because the neighbor outfeeds me, they went to her house. lol I'd see them flying and in a bush from time to time.

I hear all the birds here, but haven't caught any at the feeder yet.

I had two crows in my front yard the other day. ughhhh

The Canadian geese, the Snow geese, ducks, sand pipers and robins are back. There may be more, we just haven't seen them.
