I can hardly wait to get outdoors again. I've always loved camping. I love to go hiking and explore new trails, and landscapes. In the woods I feel really peaceful down deep. Nature works so smoothly, so efficiently. I have made several homepages about camping. These pages have been fun to build, not to mention the perfect way to show off pictures of my kids and some of our favorite places to go. They load slow because of the pictures, but if anyone is interested feel free to look at them.

Do any of you have home pages or sites about the things you love?
I'd love to have a peek! ~Chelle~

 thanks for sharing. I am wondering if my dd has her hunting camp pictures up on her site still. You might enjoy seeing what camping is like up by the Yukon border, both extremes of North America so to speak.
I enjoy it or used to, but I'm just not up to it anymore. I'm so glad the kids have been able to go with my bil and my dad to the hunting camp for several years. The last few years they had to miss it due to being back in regular school (we homeschooled and they are in university) but ds is due to grad this spring, and he is hoping he can work it to join the family in the fall again.

Wow! Those are great! My DH and I used to camp every chance we could. Mostly up in Canada. Did I tell you I love Canada and Canadians? We had once talked about moving there!

Thanks for posting this. I like the "camper chores" and idea about securing the camp. I am NOT a camper, we have rented an RV and will be taking our 5 teenagers for a 3 week trek out west - covering about 3000 miles - from Chicago, to Mt Rushmore, across to Seattle, down as far as LA/Hollywood, Reno, Grand Canyon, across Kansas to St. Louis. Because I'm a novice, I'm very nervous & anxious about how to pack, what all will be needed, things to make our trip run smoothly... We are driving the RV (a Class 'C') and I have already gotten road games, plus we'll have CD players and Videos...
I'm a little nervous about being in such a small space with basically 7 full-grown people... let's see ~ Trapped (!) might be the word I'm looking for!! LOL
anyway, if you have any helpful ideas, I'm all ears! :0)
Enjoyed your checklist.

Hi SandyinTN, I've been away a few days, just saw the post. Wow sounds like a great adventure. I'm sure you'll have a great time. I've never traveled in an rv but I would think that at least in an rv, when you aren't on the road, the kid's would be happy to get outdoors again. Maybe bring them a tent so they can sit up late around the campfire while you get some peace? My kid's liked to bring their friends and do that. Although I can't imagine sleeping thru 5 teenagers clambering back into your rv later! Lol I'll keep thinking... Sounds like alot of fun to me though.
