My kids are always making sure we recycle, not only with the recycling program but in trying different ways in recycling other things, such as clothing, wood, etc. They come up with some really neat suggestions in the past.

How serious are your kids in helping you to recycle? Do they remind you that something needs to be recycled that you may have thrown out and they've seen it?

Ryan is not showing any real interest in this yet, probably because me and Mel aren't doing too much in the way of recycling either. We tend to reuse items but as of right now, aren't taking anything to the bins. Jars, newspaper, plastic containers, plastic bags, old clothing that's not good enough to donate, bulk packing containers (like cat litter) all get reused.
