Our wonderful home in the woods has just about all pine slat board walls:

(This was taken the same week we moved in, sorry about the mess)

Due to this "spring cleaning" bug that keeps bitting me, I'd like to clean them in the next few weeks.

The problem is, what do I use? I've never had wood walls before. All of the rooms except the bath and 3 walls in the second bedroom are wood.

Any suggestions?

I'd use Murphys oil soap.
Pine wood like that makes me feel all warm inside.:toast:

I just happen to have a bottle of that under my sink. I'll give it a test try today and let you know how it worked.

I love Murphy's oil and I'm sure it will do the trick! Beautiful pine!!

I've tried the Murphy's on the front room walls and it's working great. But the back of the house (2 bedrooms) wood doesn't have a finish on it and it's not working as well. The soap is soaking into the wood. Ideas?
