A farm close by that we see everytime we go to the library has a huge windmill and dh and I always talk about it. There are a couple homes right here in our small rural town that still have windmills and use them.

Do you have a windmill on your property and if so, is it fully functional? Can you explain to me how they work?

Cj I suppose you are talking about the old fashioned windmills that are used to pump water....? There are lots of them around these here parts. As for me, I want a wind-power generator......Oh yeah.......

We don't have one but there are so many around here. The Mennonite and Amish all have one which they use and other farms have them for show. A neighbour says that the Amish have been asking to buy his for years as he doesn't use it but it's part of his farm and his family's before him so for sentimental reasons he's keeping it.
