The more the weather is cold, snowy, rainy etc. the more the goats stay in their shelter. When weather is nice, they roam the pasture. Well Mel told me last night that I should have plenty of manure for my flower beds because the goats have been in the shelter a lot here lately. Nothing like cleaning out the poop for a fun Spring job but I have to admit, it will really grow the green stuff. We also have a bunch of hay that we have not had to use. I'll be putting that around my pretties as well.

What do you use for fertilizer - anything special? Got any secrets to share?

Jack has a friend at work who needed help getting rid of some of his cow manure last winter. We only took a truck load to use on our garden but could have gotten many more. Bad weather does equal manure in more ways than one, lol.
Enjoy your pretties Pat.:)
