Indoor water gardens. I have lots of bamboo and I love to sprout sweet potatoes!!! I do not have a green thumb, but these two work for me...

Needless to say I have a lot to learn here!!! I wish my home to be a jungle inside and out!! I love plants but need help. Does anyone have any suggestions for water plants? I even have peace lillies growing in vases, but I killed all the Beta fish that were in there too.

Miss planters says you just lack confidence and training. ;) Don't worry we will help you figure out why your plants keep croaking on you. I don't know much about water plants. Yet LOL. I killed a beta fish, but still have the plant.

Robin, how big would you like for your indoor water garden to be? We have some neat miniature cattails in our garden that are really cool.....but they are sorta tallish. I'd love to talk to ya about water plants. There are soooo many neat ones and most of them require very little work (you can't over water em! :D ).
Like you, I would love to have gobs of plants indoors too.....we just don't have the light. :(

The real trick will be getting the plants enough light and fresh air while inside. I have used fans and florescent lights to keep the following alive until summer:

watercress
lotus
azolla
sweet flag
water hyacinth
water lilly
water lettuce
papyrus
