Crumb I don't even know the name of it, but its this big huge cumbersome thing that is hard to start and I hate. On my wishlist is a riding lawn mower. A gal can always dream right.
What type do you have?

We've got a 16hp Troy Built garden tractor.Vroom vroom. It's a work horse that we use year round. One of the best things we've ever bought.
It's a mulching mower and in the fall we attach a leaf gathering brush bag.Drive around and pick up leaves and pull the cord and dump them where we want them.
We have a cart that attaches & hauls just about everything.Rocks, wood, garbage etc.
Dh also made a rock boat out of wood(it's like a wood sleigh) and we attach it to the hitch ball and haul huge rocks & things to where they need to go.
In the winter the chains go on the tires and the plow blade is attached.
As you can see it really is a work horse. Money well spent.

We just replaced our 18 yr old Honda with a new honda. I LOVE HONDAS. We have a little honda roto tiller, the mini one, and we owned a Honda snowblower for years in the snowbelt (now in a less snowy region, we sold it).
All the Honda's that we own(ed) are easy starting, easy maintenance, never give any grief and are light enough for me to operate unless I'm in such a severe arthritis outbreak that I can't use my lightweight canister vacuum either.
The mower is a gas, rear bagger, mulching mower and it has power drive, which means it pulls itself along which makes mowing a breeze. I adore the mulching feature, it does such a good job that the stuff that comes out is precomposted compost. Fine grind. Goes right down between the blades of grass onto the soil.
My lawn is looking better and better with it. I normally have it set on mulch unless the grass is super long or I need the clippings for another purpose.

Well since we have combined our households we have:
1 Yardman self-propelled push mower
1 old Craftman push mower with the big wheels on back
1 older model Craftsman riding mower that only works occassionally
and the new Kubota tractor comes with a mowing deck.
Oh yeah and we have an organic mower - the GOATS. LOL

I'm not certain on the brand, but we have a self propelled mulching type. It's easy to start and easy to push and cuts. lol I am thankful we got self propelled because I mowed a lot last year. ;)

Anyone own a reel mower? I remember we had one when I was growing up. It was horrible looking and heavy, but we still used it sometimes. They've come a long way these days and I think it would be a nice thing to have and great exercise and good for the environment too.

Same here Sara. I don't know the brand name. I just know it is self-propelled because I do most of the mowing.
