For me, I'd have to say the chicken coup. I remember going to my grandpa's and having to step in the mess, with nose pinched, to collect the eggs. Pig barns are pretty bad too.
What do you think is the worse?

I can stand manure of all types. I can't stand the smell of ripe canola! It's like stinky feet but much worse and everywhere!!!

Manure is pretty bad, but when the dogs find something dead in the woods and bring it home is worse. Nothing like a dead things leg on your sidewalk to make coming home so unpleasant. Also when the goats are in the mating mood, the boy goats stink like crazy. I guess the girls find it sexy.

I didn't mind that musky smell. But he didn't live here, I just borrowed him. If he did, after a while I might have gotten sick of it. Dh thought he really stunk! But that is because he was working all one afternoon down wind of him. LOL

We've had pigs when we were first married and have horses and chickens now...I would have to say chickens. The boys clean out their pen each week but when it's time to spread on the garden....... :redsick:

A billy goat, whew do they smell. The one we had was a sweetheart but I came in the house every day reeking of goat BO because he always wanted to be petted. He was so potent my nose would start to feel numb. I don't know how those billy's can stand themselves and I really don't know why a doe would find one attractive, lol.

And how could I forget, turkey manure, ick! We used to live in the next county which is known as the turkey capital of the world and was full of turkey houses. They used to spread the manure and stuff from the barns onto fields and whew that was a horrible smell and made your eyes water and your nose burn and I usually ended up with a headache and asthma. Potent stuff! Glad we have moved where there isn't much of that around.

hog manure, goodness sakes that stuff stinks to high heavens. I don't use it but the farmer I rent some land to uses it in the spring and I can't hang clothes or open my windows for two days after, three if theres a wind, eeeeewwwwwwwww
