For many of you, you know that my passion is quilting. But I was wondering who else quilts and do you do lots of quilting and are you just starting or been quilting for a long time.

I do, I do! I have actually finished three or more. I have one that has been passed down through several generations in my moms side of the family. I have a quilt top i will be finishing that my grandmother (father's side) gave me this last August. And I have a few projects to do after I finish the one I am doing in the tutorial at Frugal Village. I am doing that one for dd, hopefully for Christmas. I will then be doing one from a book I have. I have been quilting for 7 years more or less.

(Should I go hide in the corner?! LOL!)

I do, but haven't worked on anything in a very long time. When things get settled down (hopefully soon) I hope to start back. I really did enjoy it when I was doing it on a regular basis.

I have made many block/tied quilts. But as far as the real quilting, I am so thankful for CJ and her tutorials at FV. I am having a ball. I really am. I never thought I would get this excited about putting little pieces of fabric together to make a beautiful block! I have a LONG way to go to get it right but I guess it takes lots of practice. I think I have found my "passion"!! ;) I have always admired quilts and how they were put together and now I am actually doing it. CJ, I am blessed by your willingness to teach and knowledge!! Thanks so much!!

I am...slowly but surely. I've been interested in quilting for a couple of years now and have only made a couple of quillows, a wallhanging, and about 4 blocks from CJ's tutorial.

I'd love to make a queen size quilt for my brother's wedding next summer, so that will be the first "full size" quilt I've attempted.

I am learning to quilt but so far have only made small wall hangings. I hope to improve and one day actually be able to do a bed quilt.

When life hands you scraps, make quilts. Been a quilter for 40 years. It is my therapy. I am a fabricaholic. Am willing to travel 10 hours to get to a fabric store or a quilt show. My latest quilt is a simple whole cloth, all three layers, tied. A quick baby gift. I buy a minimum of 2 yards each purchase.
Love my therapy!

Hi everyone.

I havent started yet, but its somthing that I've always wanted to try, it just never seems that there is enough time, when you have teens in the house.

I enjoy quilting....if only I'd sit still long enough to finish my many UFO's. I've also made quillows and have several blocks to start many others. Some of the quilts I have yet to finish are; Hunter's Star, Braided Charm, My Canadian Home, and Sleepyhead Bear which comes to mind. What are some of your favorite patterns?
