I classify myself as an urban homesteader because we live in a small rural town, rather than on an acreage. I still do most of the homestead stuff, but of course don't have chickens, cows, etc.

We live in an urban setting as well. I consider us homesteaders although I will openly admit to enjoying the modern day luxuries that electricity has to offer. We do grow lots of our own food, try to manage as frugally as possible (in most cases) and love our little plot of land here.
