Dipped in sugar, its not bad. I don't know many though that eat it without cooking it in something first. Canadian gardener 01-30-2004, 03:19 AM OH just the thought of it raw, and it's pucker time. Like a lemon only more so. The old timers called it Pie Plant, and you might know it by that old country name Pat. Makes a wonderful addition to strawberries and same season. It is one of the few perennials that grow in the Yukon, I remember it being in the garden next door when I was a little girl. |
